A collaboration between Glass of Weinstein & Grain Reaper. Inspired by the words of Emma Lazarus, whose poem is etched on the tablet Lady Liberty holds, Mother of Exiles is a cookie celebrating what truly makes our country great. A melting pot of cultures and history, we wanted to something that not only honors the rich diversity of our country but provides an opportunity to bring people together and celebrate what makes us unique.
The proceeds from Mother of Exiles will be donated monthly to DORCAS, a local RI organization that intentionally helps and uplifts the immigrant and refugee community.
Food has always been a partner in unity, and bringing people together over a shared meal (or dessert in this case) has always been the mission of the Grain Reaper. I hope you find comfort and solace here now & always.
